PROVE IT!

"I know you inside and out, and find little to my liking. You're not cold, you're not hot--far better to be either cold or hot! You're stale. You're stagnant. You make me want to vomit.
Revelation 3:15-16 (The Message)

I know your [record of] works and what you are doing; you are neither cold nor hot. Would that you were cold or hot!
So, because you are lukewarm and neither cold nor hot, I will spew you out of My mouth!Revelation 3:15-16 (The Amplified Bible)

I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth.
Revelation 3:15-16 (NIV)

"I know you inside and out, and find little to my liking. You're not cold, you're not hot--far better to be either cold or hot! You're stale. You're stagnant. You make me want to vomit. You brag, "I'm rich, I've got it made, I need nothing from anyone,' oblivious that in fact you're a pitiful, blind beggar, threadbare and homeless.
"Here's what I want you to do: Buy your gold from me, gold that's been through the refiner's fire. Then you'll be rich. Buy your clothes from me, clothes designed in Heaven. You've gone around half-naked long enough. And buy medicine for your eyes from me so you can see, really see.

Revelation 3:15-18 (The Message)

So what is it going to be?
Are you HOT or COLD?

Jesus Anointed by a Sinful Woman

Now one of the Pharisees invited Jesus to have dinner with him, so he went to the Pharisee's house and reclined at the table. When a woman who had lived a sinful life in that town learned that Jesus was eating at the Pharisee's house, she brought an alabaster jar of perfume, and as she stood behind him at his feet weeping, she began to wet his feet with her tears. Then she wiped them with her hair, kissed them and poured perfume on them.
When the Pharisee who had invited him saw this, he said to himself, "If this man were a prophet, he would know who is touching him and what kind of woman she is—that she is a sinner."
Jesus answered him, "Simon, I have something to tell you."

"Tell me, teacher," he said.
"Two men owed money to a certain moneylender. One owed him five hundred denarii, and the other fifty. Neither of them had the money to pay him back, so he canceled the debts of both. Now which of them will love him more?"
Simon replied, "I suppose the one who had the bigger debt canceled." "You have judged correctly," Jesus said.
Then he turned toward the woman and said to Simon, "Do you see this woman? I came into your house. You did not give me any water for my feet, but she wet my feet with her tears and wiped them with her hair. You did not give me a kiss, but this woman, from the time I entered, has not stopped kissing my feet. You did not put oil on my head, but she has poured perfume on my feet. Therefore, I tell you, her many sins have been forgiven—for she loved much. But he who has been forgiven little loves little."
Then Jesus said to her, "Your sins are forgiven."
The other guests began to say among themselves, "Who is this who even forgives sins?"
Jesus said to the woman, "Your faith has saved you; go in peace."

To Daddy and Mommy

I had to do a writing project today on someone who has made an influence on my life
I picked my parents
And as I was writing this I relized how much they really mean to me
And then I started to cry
And I'm crying again now
Anyways
It's really simple (and kind of childish)
But it meant so much to me

Since I was small
You’ve both always been there
Through thick and thin
You’ve always cared

Even though I don’t always show
How much I love you both
So I thought I’d let you know
I love you both so very much

Even though we sometimes fight
And we don’t always agree
I always want to be the one who is right
Even if I know I’m wrong

And when I get in to trouble
And you say
We do this because we love you
Sometimes I’m not sure I believed you

But I know you both know what is best
And in the end I see your right
And I thank you both so much
I love you both, don’t ever forget

I thank God so much for you both
I don’t know where I’d be with out you
You’ve made my life so wonderful
Thank you, with love
Your Daughter

Nick sent this to me, and since it made me laugh so hard I thought i would share the joy and laughter!

Confessions of kid
Little Bobby came into the kitchen where his mother was making dinner.
His birthday was coming up and he thought this was a good time to tell his mother what he wanted.
"Mom, I want a bike for my birthday."
Little Bobby was a bit of atroublemaker.
He had gotten into trouble at school and at home.
Bobby's mother asked him if he thought he deserved to get a bike for his birthday.
Little Bobby, of course, thought he did.
Bobby's mother wanted Bobby to reflect on his behavior over the last year.
"Go to your room, Bobby, and think about how you have behaved this year.
Then write a letter to God and tell him why you deserve a bike for your birthday."
Little Bobby stomped up the steps to his room and sat down to write God a letter.

Letter 1:
Dear God,I have been a very good boy this year and I would like a bike for my birthday. I want a red one. Your friend,Bobby

Bobby knew that this wasn't true.
He had not been a very good boy this year, so he tore up the letter and started over.

Letter 2:
Dear God, This is your friend Bobby. I have been a good boy this year and I would like a red bike for my birthday.Thank you.Your friend Bobby

Bobby knew that this wasn't true either.
So, he tore up the letter and started again.

Letter 3:
Dear God,I have been an "OK " boy this year. I still would really like a bike for my birthday. Bobby

Bobby knew he could not send this letter to God either.
So, Bobby wrote afourth letter.

Letter 4:
God,I know I haven't been a good boy this year. I am very sorry. I will be a good boy if you just send me a bike for my birthday. Please! Thank you, Bobby

Bobby knew, even if it was true, this letter was not going to get him a bike.
Now, Bobby was very upset.
He went downstairs and told his mom that he wanted to go to church.
Bobby's mother thought her plan had worked, as Bobby looked very sad.
"Just be home in time for dinner," Bobby's mother told him.
Bobby walked down the street to the church on the corner.
Little Bobby went into the church and up to the altar.
He looked around to see if anyone was there.
Bobby bent down and picked up a statue of the Mary.
He slippedthe statue under his shirt and ran out of the church, down the street, into the house, and up to his room.
He shut the door to his room and sat down with a piece of paper and a pen.
Bobby began to write his letter to God.

Letter 5:
God, I'VE KIDNAPPED YOUR MOM. IF YOU WANT TO SEE HER AGAIN, SEND THE BIKE! !!!!!!!!!

HAHAHAHA!
That's so funny!

HAHAHA Let's all laugh!

Just for a good laugh I thought I'd put this great qoute from Monty Pyton and the Holy Grail!

And Saint Attila raised the Holy Hand Grenade up on high
saying, "Oh Lord, Bless us this Holy Hand Grenade, and with it
smash our enemies to tiny bits."
And the Lord did grin, and the people did feast upon the
lambs, and goats, and orangutans, and breakfast cereals, and
lima bean-
And then the Lord spake, saying:"First, shalt thou take out the holy pin.
Then shalt thou count to three.
No more, no less.*Three* shall be the number of the counting, and the number
of the counting shall be three.
*Four* shalt thou not count, and neither count thou two,
excepting that thou then goest on to three.
Five is RIGHT OUT. Once the number three, being the third
number be reached, then lobbest thou thy Holy Hand Grenade
to-wards thy foe, who, being naughty in my sight, shall snuffit.
Amen.

Sunday school with Miss. Sammy...........

So kiddys!
Today we're going to talk about The Voice of Truth!
*children awe at the words*
That's right kids!
Do you know who The Voice of Truth is?
*little Jimmy puts up his hand*
Jesus?
That's right Jimmy!
Jesus is the voice of truth!
You know why?
Because he tells US the truth!
Now kids, do you know where lies come from?
*Suzzy puts up her hand*
The devil?
Yes Suzzy, the devil!

Now who would you rather listen to?
The father of lies?
Or the Father of Truth?

Oh what I would do to have
The kind of faith it takes
To climb out of this boat I'm
in on to the crashing waves

To step out of my comfort zone
Into the realm of the unknown where Jesus is
And He's holding out His hand

But the waves are calling out my name
And they laugh at me
Reminding me of all the times
I've tried before and failed
The waves they keep on telling me
Time and time again. "Boy, you'll never win!"
"You'll never win!"

But the Voice of Truth tells me a different story
The Voice of Truth says, "Do not be afraid!"
And the Voice of Truth says, "This is for My glory"
Out of all the voices calling out to me
I will choose to listen and believe the Voice of Truth

Oh what I would do to have
The kind of strength it takes
to stand before a giant
With just a sling and a stone
Surrounded by the sound of a thousand warriors
Shaking in their armor
Wishing they'd have had the strength to stand

But the giant's calling out my name
And he laughs at me
Reminding me of all the times I've tried before and failed
The giant keeps on telling me
Time and time again. "Boy you'll never win!"
"You'll never win!"

But the Voice of Truth tells me a different story
The Voice of Truth says, "Do not be afraid!"
And the Voice of Truth says, "This is for My glory"
Out of all the voices calling out to me
I will choose to listen and believe the Voice of Truth

But the stone was just the right size
To put the giant on the ground
And the waves they don't seem so high
On top of them lookin' down
I will soar with the wings of eagles
When I stop and listen to the sound of Jesus
Singing over me

But the Voice of Truth tells me a different story
The Voice of Truth says, "Do not be afraid!"
And the Voice of Truth says, "This is for My glory"
Out of all the voices calling out to me (calling out to me)
I will choose to listen and believe-

I will choose to listen and believe the Voice of Truth

I will listen and believe
I will listen and believe the Voice of truth
I will listen and believe
Cause Jesus you are the voice of truth
And I will listen to you, you are-
(Casting Crowns ~ The Voice of Truth)

and I will walk in your truth;
give me an undivided heart,
that I may fear your name.

If we are the body... Part 2

This is to go along with yesterday........

The Royal Rule of Love
My dear friends, don't let public opinion influence how you live out our glorious, Christ-originated faith. If a man enters your church wearing an expensive suit, and a street person wearing rags comes in right after him, and you say to the man in the suit, "Sit here, sir; this is the best seat in the house!" and either ignore the street person or say, "Better sit here in the back row," haven't you segregated God's children and proved that you are judges who can't be trusted?
Listen, dear friends. Isn't it clear by now that God operates quite differently? He chose the world's down-and-out as the kingdom's first citizens, with full rights and privileges. This kingdom is promised to anyone who loves God. And here you are abusing these same citizens! Isn't it the high and mighty who exploit you, who use the courts to rob you blind? Aren't they the ones who scorn the new name--"Christian"-used in your baptisms?
You do well when you complete the Royal Rule of the Scriptures: "Love others as you love yourself." But if you play up to these so-called important people, you go against the Rule and stand convicted by it.

If we are the body............

But if we are the Body
Why arent His arms reaching
Why arent His hands healing
Why arent His words teaching
And if we are the Body
Why arent His feet going
Why is His love not showing them there is a way

Jesus paid much too high a price
For us to pick and choose who should come
And we are the Body of Christ

Casting Crowns
~If we are the body

Why are we not showing the love of Chirst to everyone?
We have not right to choose who can come into the kingdom

But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood,
a holy nation, a people for His possession,

so that you may proclaim the praises
of the One who called you out of darkness
into His marvelous light.

This post has nothing to do with this picture.

I just felt like a little Fred&Ginger today.

Anyways.

STRESSED!

Yes, that's me

Over here!

God give me strength

But those who wait upon GOD get fresh strength.
They spread their wings and soar like eagles,
They run and don't get tired,
they walk and don't lag behind.

Isaiah 40:31 (the message)

Provincials tomorrow!

In case your wondering why

But I'm just gonna lay it down

Again

Just gonna die to him

Again

I really feel like dancing

But since I have ABSOLUTELY no energy..............

And I can hardly stand

And my nose is so stuffy that everytime I breath in my nose I get dizzy for about 5 seconds.

But yah

Dancing!

Maybe that's why I put that picture up?

Anyways

Come back to the never ending river of love

So last night I was at Attack (SO GOOD) and God just started speaking to me and told me to write this song when I got home
Now I haven't written a song in a long time
Plus I don't think I've EVER let anyone read any of them
But yet here I am
Sharing this with you guys

I'm coming back now
Running back to you
This world is empty
But you are full
Your river never ends
Never ends
Never ends
It's never ending

And I wanna come
Come
Come

Back to the river
Camp by the river
Live in the river
The river of you
Swim in the river
Drown in the river
Drink of the river
The river of you

And I will not be satisfied anymore
Daddy you know what's best for me
Help me to know this

And I wanna come
Come
Come

Back to the river
Camp by the river
Live in the river
The river of you
Swim in the river
Drown in the river
Drink of the river
The river of you

Over flowing
Never ending
Always there
Always there....
When I'm thirsty

His grace is enough!

But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me.

Let the fire fall, let the wind blow, let your glory come down

He will come to us like rain, spring rain
He will come to us like rain, spring rain

If we ask, He will come
Send His rain on everyone

For every child(soul) needs rain, spring rain
For every child(soul) needs rain, spring rain

God just had me singing this earlier
And it just clicked
It's been raining almost all day
I know this kind of rain (winter rain that is) isn't so nice
But spring rain................
Oh how I long for spring rain
The kind you can dance in
*giggle*
Mmm yah
Dancing!
And singing
"I'm singing in the rain, just singing in the rain"
I can't wait for that spring rain
But I will wait
Cause when it comes..........
It will come down in rivers!
LET IT COME LORD, LET IT COME!
WOO HOO!

They longed for me to speak as they longed for rain. They waited eagerly, for my words were as refreshing as the spring rain.
Job 29:23
